The still-unreleased Battle Pass skin is believed by data-miners to release sometime around August 12, which is about one week after this presumed invasion countdown expires. While it’s still mostly a mystery as to what form that assault may take, there’s one piece of the Season 7 puzzle that seems extremely ripe to figure into the equation in some way: Superman. Given that namesake, it seems likely this countdown timer may end with some sort of full-scale alien invasion of the Battle Royale map.

The Storm fastly shrinks in and The Device activates again. They soon return to the island, as The Device shuts down.

After The Storm reaches outside The Island, The Looper gets Rifted into The IO Complex, inside Agent Jones's Office as Jones walks through the hallway talking to Doctor Slone on his phone. The Towers powers up The Device, and it starts pushing back The Storm. After that, The Agency explodes and The Device rises. After it does, the hatches open up and four towers start rising.
